Nethermains House Reviews (send us a review)

Our family have been staying here at Nethermains for over seven years now, it's our Scottish home form home. Margaret is a fantastic host, who cannot be more accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms here are lovely and all done in Margaret's unique style. Always spotlessly clean. The traditional Scottish breakfast is always cooked fresh and tastes great. Looking forward to many more stays at Nethermains. Thank you Margaret.

The Hawthornes November 2015

Stayed for one night brilliant stay comfortable and great shower, very spacious room also with lots of tea and coffee also available, shame it was only for one night though, also only a few minutes from Irvine it self which has plenty to offer as well...

Craig - Great night! *****

Returned for another very comfortable three nights. Room as usual was spotless with all amenities, with the usual friendly welcome from Margaret. Highly recommended - and whenever I am in the area again I will definitely aim to stay at Nethermains.

Terry C - Happy to come back again *****

We stayed here for 4 nights & our host Margaret was wonderful - she went out of her way to make our stay so peaceful & pleasant. Our room had everything we needed & was very comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate with a variety of foods to choose from. It was also an easy place to travel to Glascow...

Heather D - Oz travellers *****

Very comfortable rooms with excellent facilities. The owner was helpful and accommodating, lending us an iron (better than the one provided) and offering us a lift if needed. We had the continental breakfast which was very nice. The only down side was we were next to the breakfast room so it was a bit noisy in the morning.

Fyrish - Lovely place to stay *****
